To keep the plants on your property looking amazing they require consistent trimming, pruning, and removing any overgrown roots that are in the way or starting to dismantle the ground. A lot of our customers want to know more about what we do, in this page we will go into detail about the ways to care for your trees without us!
Tree Trimming
Just like we get haircuts our plants need personal grooming as well. The way plants grow naturally aren't symmetrical and therefore require shaping. To keep your garden groomed make sure to observe where there are any overgrown branches. You can use a saw or garden scissors to trim accordingly. This can add up to be a tedious process, especially for large trees, which is why we recommend hiring an expert.
Tree Pruning
Pruning involves finding the parts of your plant that are dead or diseased and removing them. This is not only great to make your tree look more aesthetically pleasing but will also decrease the likelihood of stray branches and sticks falling during high winds. Pruning makes way for new healthy branches, leaves and roots to grow in.
Tree Removal
Due to the dangers that comes with this task, we do not recommend trying this yourself.
First you need to measure how deep the roots have grown. From here you need to dig around the whole root system. Once the tree is loose from extensive digging you will need to slowly lean the plant sideways onto the ground. If the tree is large this will require specific machinery as leverage. Once the tree is flat on the ground you can either cut it up, or transport it to another property if you plan on replanting it.
Tree Stump Grinding
Stump grinding requires using a grinder with a rotating blade specifically designed for this task. This process may take several hours as you can only chew away at the stump one section at a time. At the end of the stump grinding process you will be left with a pile of wood chips. This is perfect to use for mulch around the yard or for whatever you see fit.
Plant Health and Maintenance
Once you've groomed your garden it's essential to give your plants the ideal atmosphere to thrive in. Hire someone for pest control as those pesky bugs may be causing problems in your garden. Invest in high quality soil and fertilizer to keep your plants flourishing. Pull weeds regularly and set up a sprinkler system that focuses on watering the roots. Our team will gladly asses your property and diagnose any areas that need work. Unless you're a certified arborist we recommend hiring someone to take care of your landscaping needs. Leave it to the pros!
